A Looping Tour Through the Heart of Broomfield, Colorado
Late fall and early winter usher in the season of light for many cultures and religions. Light is a warm reflection of joy, celebration, hope, peace, remembrance, reverence, and connection. Is there anything more magical than being in the presence of mystical lights? Celebrate a taste of the season of light this December alongside those you love with an evening holiday light tour. From our family to yours, here’s a tour of lights in our hometown in Colorado.

📍 Start Here: 3795 Shadow Canyon Trail; Redleaf Subdivision. This neighborhood has a lighting contest each year and is a delightful drive throughout the neighborhood.
📍 Continue SW on Shadow Canyon Trail, and turn right onto Rabbit Mountain Road to see several other light displays in the neighborhood.
📍4655 Red Deer Trail: Turn Left onto Red Deer Trail to see the brilliant “Blue Tree House” as our family dubs it. This striking tree on the east side of The Broomfield Commons Dog Park i’s so bright, you can see its peaceful gleam beaming brighter than all other lights from Sheridan Blvd!
📍E. 14th Ave and Red Deer Trail: Directly across the driveway of the Blue Tree House, you’ll see the east side of The Commons Dog Park parking lot; drive south until you reach the roundabout; keep right through the roundabout onto Broomfield County Commons Dr; turn left onto Sheridan Blvd to continue tour.
📍Left on Midway; left onto Yates Street: Here you’ll find several homes decorated around Yates Circle and 128th Place featuring Broomfield’s crown jewel of synced lights.

📍4810 W 127th Place: Lights synced to music - Get out and make a $1 donation to A Precious Child and pick the next song. Thoughtfully cool community giving!❤️
📍4801 W 123rd Place: “Santa here!? I know him!!” –Buddy the Elf
📍4812 W 123rd Place: Pretty little silhouette in the window
📍4872 W. 123rd Place: Singing Christmas trees synced to music! Always a fun stop.
📍1442 Loch Lomond Avenue: A gingerbread village so bright, Clark Griswald might appear seeking new ideas.
✨📍You’re at a crossroads: Either choose to go west on E. 1st Ave to continue to the City and County of Broomfield buildings, OR choose to extend your tour a little further south to Westminster City Center.
✨📍Continuing to Westminster? 9650 Sheridan Blvd: Continue south down Sheridan to Adventure Golf at Sheridan and 96th. Open for evening rounds of mini golf among the lights, or drive by and peep thousands of lights along the courses.
✨📍4800 W 92nd Ave: Contine south along Sheridan Blvd; left on 92nd Ave; right into Westminster City Hall
📍Staying in Broomfield? 280 Spader Way: The Broomfield City and County Buildings on Spader Way are decked out each December. Be sure to drive through the dropoff circle at the Broomfield Community Center and take in the beautiful “Water is Life” outdoor sculpture. Need a break to stretch? Park and walk to the sculpture and press the button on the water droplet to change the color of the light and check out the shadows depicting the Front Range.
📍155 Hemlock Street: Lots of lights and fun windowbox scenes in the yard. They have a tub for FISH non-perishable food donations on the porch if you’d like to donate! ❤️
📍1275 W. Midway Blvd; Midway Blvd from Laurel Street to Kohl Street: The Midway North and South Park Trees are ooh and aww-worthy each season with hundreds of lights and colors.
Kohl Street: Many homes in this subdivision near Broomfield Heights Middle School are lit up and festive on both the east and west sides of the neighborhood.
📍Country Estates Subdivision; Enter on Telluride Drive or Durango Ave off of Aspen St: Check out Cortez Court, Gunnison Way, and Craig Way for delightful amateur and professional lighting displays
📍13927 Fox Ridge Drive; Aspen Creek Subdivision: The Griswalds of The Creek! In addition, many streets on the opposite side of Fox Ridge Dr. (southwest end) are lit up on the loop between Fox Ridge Dr, Brook Hollow Dr, and Quail Ridge Dr. Most houses have tree trunks lit up and make for a beautiful drive to end your tour or stretch your legs for a short walk along Brookhollow. It’s a magical drive at Halloween too!
📍Wildgrass and Silverleaf Subdivisions: Still up for more lights? These two neighborhoods spanning both the east and west side of Sheridan Blvd are feeling the spirit of the season! Pick any combination of streets to drive along.
📍16573 Prospect Lane and 16719 Cathedral Way; Anthem Subdivision: An expansive neighborhood decked out in brilliance to end your light tour with a couple animated homes.
